Wheels of change for Terry Wright Cycles

11 January 2018

Terry Wright Cycles has relocated from Market Deeping to new premises in Peterborough, creating local job opportunities.

With the popularity of people of all ages taking up cycling, Terry Wright Cycles has significantly grown in the past 12 years and has now taken up the opportunity of moving into premises closer to Peterborough City Centre from their current premises in Market Deeping. With the support of Barclays Business Manager, Alex Spires, through banking facilities and business contacts in commercial property, the search was on for an alternative site which suited their future needs and enabled the business to showcase its full range of cycles.

After looking at a number of new premises, an ideal opportunity came along and the independent retail cycle shop moved to Mancetter Square, Lincoln Road, Werrington, Peterborough PE4 6BX on Monday 8th January 2018. As part of the strategic business plan, future job opportunities will be created for local people. Terry Wright Cycles offers a range of racing, mountain, folding, town and children’s bikes. They also offer full cycle service and repair and accessories.

Paul Bonham, Terry Wright Cycles, comments: “We are up and running in the new shop thanks to the great effort of our staff, friends of the company and the 4D Home Improvements Limited building team. We have benefited from continued excellent service from Barclays through Alex Spires. It's been great already seeing the positive responses of customers who have visited the new purpose built showroom and workshop and we are looking forward to seeing customers old and new here at Mancetter Square.”

Alex Spires, Barclays Business Banking Manager, Peterborough, comments: “As the popularity of cycling has built momentum, coupled with strong customer service, the business has grown from strength to strength. The new premises will showcase their full range of cycles that cater for every need and allow them to develop further.”
