Trafficking victims in Nigeria often live on the streets and strive to make money by any means possible.  Such children have little access to basic social services, so the centres will provide them with counselling and medical care as well as basic education.

Ultimately, the project aims to reintegrate these young people with their families, where this is possible, and in the best interests of the children.

The launch is part of the Building young futures partnership – a programme backed by Barclays and UNICEF to offer opportunities for education, employment and entrepreneurship to young people around the world.
