Speakers on the panel include Richard Lambert, Director General of the Confederation of British Industry; Nick Robinson, BBC Political Editor; and Simon Hayes, Chief UK Economist at Barclays Capital.
The event will be hosted by Ian Stuart, Managing Director, Barclays Corporate, with the discussion facilitated by award-winning BBC presenter and journalist Huw Edwards, who is a former Parliamentary Correspondent.
The UK general election, which was held on 6 May, 2010, was one of the most eagerly awaited elections in years. No political party won an overall majority, resulting in a hung parliament, which last occurred in 1974. This event provides a valuable forum for colleagues, customers and industry figures to explore the new political landscape and its impact on UK businesses.
