Barclays Business, part of UK Retail Banking, has launched Ready For Growth, a series of seminars to help small and medium-sized enterprises grow their businesses.
The initiative, targeted at businesses with turnovers of up to £5m, provides participants with access to entrepreneurs and industry experts who will offer advice and tips on developing business expansion plans.
It will also provide businesses with networking opportunities.
The second flagship seminar takes place today in Leeds.
Guests invited to speak at the event include Daisy McAndrew, Economics Editor of UK broadcaster ITV News; Paul Lindley, Founder of organic children's food and drink company, Ella's Kitchen; and Warren Bennett and David Hathiramani, Founders of the world's first online hand-tailored suit-making company A Suit That Fits.com.
Travers Clarke-Walker, Product and Marketing Director at Barclays Business, said: "This is the first time Barclays Business has set up seminars that have used such advanced technology interactively across eight UK locations, and with the launch seminar being such a huge success I am looking forward to being part of the second flagship seminar tonight in Leeds."
More than 300 delegates are expected to attend today's event, with another 120 participating via simultaneous satellite seminars in seven locations across the UK.
Small and medium-sized businesses around the world can also attend via a free webinar on the Ready for Growth website.
Ready For Growth seminars will also take place in locations such as Wrexham, Telford, Liverpool, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Mansfield and Norwich.
