Barclays Corporate teams up with the UK’s Financial Times to publish a series of four monthly supplements entitled, ‘The State of the UK Economy’.

The first, focusing on factors behind business success and the causes of economic disparities at the regional level, is published today.

The next two issues will discuss the response of businesses to the current economic situation on the national and global stage.

They will be published on 5 April and 10 May.

The final in the series of supplements will focus on ideas and challenges for the future as well as provide a blueprint for businesses.

It is set to be published on 7 June.

Richard French, Global Marketing Director, Barclays Corporate, said: “The campaign will provide engaging, high-quality content to help businesses survive and prosper in today’s economic climate.

“Our aim is to produce thought-provoking articles that will engage the audience, encourage debate around pertinent issues and encourage economists, business owners and leaders to address questions raised by today’s world.”

Barclays Corporate will send the supplements to around 20,000 existing and prospective clients.
