Barclays Business, part of UK Retail Banking (UKRB), today launches the ‘Your Next Steps to Boosting Business Online’ series of seminars.
The events provide budding entrepreneurs and established business owners which have a turnover of under £5m with advice on how they can use the internet and social media to grow their business.
Participants will discuss topics such as how far the internet has come for businesses, what makes a great website, and the benefits of digital marketing.
Daisy McAndrew, Economics Editor and UK broadcaster ITV, is hosting the series of seminars, which takes place from today to Wednesday, 13 April.
She will be joined by guest speakers Matt Brittin, Managing Director, Google UK and Ireland, and Josh Spear, a digital marketing expert.

Around 2,000 people are expected to attend the ‘Your Next Steps to Boosting Business Online’ seminars, which will also be broadcast over the internet to enable business owners from across the UK and Europe to take part.
The events are being organised in conjunction with the 2011 Take One Small Step Competition, which invites entrepreneurs across Britain to pitch their best business idea or existing business for a chance to win £50,000 to help turn their ideas into reality.
