Barclays has won at the 2011 Moneyfacts Awards in the UK.
It received the Best Offset Mortgage Provider and Best Innovation in Personal Finance accolades for its Woolwich Great Escape product, which allows borrowers with a mortgage from another lender to switch and benefit from a better rate with Barclays.
Great Escape involves no application fee and offers customers free legal work, valuation and a £300 cashback, which could go towards the cost of their exit fee for leaving their existing lender.
Andy Gray, Product and Savings Director, Barclays UK Retail Banking, said: "We were extremely pleased to be shortlisted in so many categories, and then to go on and win two awards was a fantastic achievement.
"This is testament to the hard work of a long list of people from a cross-section of teams that have been central to the success of our proposition and bringing great products and services to our customers."
Barclays was also highly commended in the Personal Finance Provider of the Year category.
Moneyfacts is an independent provider of personal finance information.
