Barclays has been recognised at the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR) Awards.
Its Future Leaders Development Programme (FLDP), which recruits graduates for Barclays, won the Digital Marketing and Best of the Best Awards.
The graduate recruitment scheme was commended for “great integration” across multiple communication platforms and for “a strategy that was well-conceived”.
Judges also described the FLDP’s marketing campaign as innovative, adding: “It gives real time information to students on the move, with news at their fingertips on an iPhone app.”
Karel Leeflang, Acting Retail and Business Banking HR Director, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to get an award which recognises how we have really made an effort to make our customers' lives much easier through innovations like the iPhone app with up to the minute information.
“And I am delighted to be able to say that the Barclays Future Leaders Development Programme is now a multi-award winning scheme.”
The AGR is an independent, non-profit organisation which aims to share best practice in graduate recruitment.
The AGR Awards, now in their 33rd year, are considered as one of the most prestigious awards in the industry, recognising creativity and innovation in recruitment marketing, employer branding, and career development.
