Barclays Money Skills, a community programme helping disadvantaged young people in the UK to be more knowledgeable and feel more confident about money matters, launches its new website.
The site offers practical help and information on topics such as opening a bank account, budgeting, spending money and avoiding debt.
It also offers guidance on how people can get help when they encounter difficulties with their finances.
The Barclays Money Skills website (new window) will be updated regularly with news, polls and other tools.
It complements Barclays Money Skills’ aim of helping one million people improve their financial skills.
Barclays Money Skills is part of Barclays wider community investment programme, which forms an integral part of the firm’s Citizenship strategy.
With a focus on financial, enterprise and life skills, Barclays supports disadvantaged people to build the confidence and skills to achieve financial independence and security.
