To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty’s accession to the throne, Barclays will change the branding space on over 1,000 bikes.

Stickers showcasing the Diamond Jubilee’s official emblem have been added to the front of the bikes.

These will remain until shortly after the Diamond Jubilee weekend between 2 and 5 June.

The emblem was drawn by 10-year-old Katherine Dewar from Chester, following a national competition for children aged between 6 and 14.

Ashok Vaswani, CEO Barclays UK Retail and Business Banking, said: “The Diamond Jubilee is a huge event in the nation’s calendar this summer and we’re delighted to be able to use our sponsorship of Barclays Cycle Hire to show our support to the Queen’s celebrations.”
