In one of the adverts, Miranda – a married mother of two – talks about wanting to find a bigger property. With our help, Miranda found a new mortgage, enabling her to create a workspace out of her garage and expand her business, as well as provide her children more space to enjoy family life a little bit more.
Hafiz, another Barclays mortgage customer, also features in the series of adverts, in which – like Miranda – he discusses how a Barclays mortgage has offered him the flexibility and freedom he needed at a critical point in his lives.
The campaign also encourages customers to share stories of how they would like to use their mortgage to achieve their goals via the Barclays UK Facebook page, with the most inspiring stories made into films and offered one-to-one help to achieve those goals.
The advertising campaign runs through the first half of 2014.
As Barclays looks further to expand its mortgage business, there is a great opportunity to help new customers understand the benefits of using their mortgage more effectively.
