What do you need to do to commence the review?

If a customer purchased a product other than a cap in the period from 1st December 2001, and has been classified as a non-sophisticated customer, they will have been contacted regarding the review and next steps.

If a customer purchased a cap and complains to Barclays about the sale of the cap during the course of the review, this customer will be considered against the sophisticated customer criteria to determine whether the customer shall be part of the review.

All customers should continue to comply with all terms of any agreement they have with Barclays, including continuing to make payments under any IRHP.

Length of review

Barclays is committed to the prompt resolution of the review, and as such, has devoted sufficient resources to enable it to be completed within the timeframe set out by the FCA. However, we would be grateful if those customers who are part of the review could help us to progress their case as quickly as possible by responding to any next steps in a timely manner.
